VOC Detector Exploits Effective T2SL Technology

Based on the company’s Type II Super Lattice (T2SL) technology, IRnova’s 320x256 volatile organic compound (VOC) detector locates its spectral response band around 3.30 μm to meet requirements for apps such as methane-gas emission monitoring in petrochemical industry and from pipelines. The detector is based on the company’s current quantum well infrared photodetector for sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), making it easy to integrate into IR-cameras by manufactures already using the latter.
