Vibration Multifunction Meter from Datastick Datastick Systems Inc. January 22, 2012 The VMM vibration multifunction meter from Datastick Systems Inc., San Jose, CA, is available in regular or rugged form factors, with either a Palm TX (VMM-1100 Series) or MEZ-1500 Meazura (VMM-3100 Series) handheld computer. The meter lets you monitor vibration and upgrade later to the company's VSA vibration spectrum analyzer by installing the appropriate software. The most basic VMM-1100 series includes a Palm TX handheld computer, has a frequency range of 5 Hz min. to 10 kHz max., and displays acceleration and Peaking value for early detection of bearing faults. Other models add overall velocity with built-in ISO alerts; displacement, voltage, and current sensor support; frequency range down to 0.016 Hz and up to 20 kHz. |
