Keithley Instruments Inc., Cleveland, OH, offers the Model 2810 RF vector signal analyzer for automated testing of wireless devices and transmitter circuits in production test environments and in new product and device R&D. The device is designed to work closely with the company's Model 2910 RF vector signal generator. The analyzer uses a software-defined radio architecture with a 500 MHz digital signal processor. Features include the ability to perform a 200 MHz span sweep using a 100 Hz bandwidth in ~15 s, 30 MHz of 3 dB measurement bandwidth with 20 MHz of flatness within 1 dB, the ability to decompose a waveform into its constituent frequencies, and the ability to decompose digitally modulated signals into I and Q phase components.
