The Endevco Model 7290E from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is a high-precision variable capacitance accelerometer with integral digital temperature compensation, designed to accurately measure low-frequency events. Available in 7 models, with sensing ranges from 2–150 g, the sensor incorporates a variable capacitive sensing element with gas damping and internal overrange stops and is offered in a range of excitation voltages and either differential or single-ended output.
