The HHF144 from Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, is a rotating vane hygrothermoanemometer for measuring humidity, air velocity, and temperature measurements in harsh environments. Measurement ranges are 5.0%–95% RH, 0.2–40.00 m/s or 1.5–35.00 m/s airflow (depending on model), and –20°C to 80°C or –95°C to 200°C, depending on probe. Accuracy is ±1.0% of reading ±1 digit for air velocity, ±(0.3°C +0.2% of reading in °C) for temperature, and ±2.0% for RH. The device has a temperature sensor in the humidity probe as standard and provides min. and max. air speed and humidity measurements, an analog output voltage, and NIST calibration. Applications include environmental control, flow hood monitoring, and computer rooms.
