Ultra Miniature Reed Sensor from MEDER

The MK24 Series reed sensors from MEDER electronic Inc., West Wareham, MA, are 5 by 1.8 by 2.2 mm, have a min. life expectancy of 50 million operations at 5 V, 5 mA, 100 Hz, and require no external power to operate. The devices are available in sensitivity ranges from 1.5–10 mT. The hermetically sealed switches have a robust thermoset molded package, flat contacts, and are offered in 3 lead designs. They are capable of switching up to 3 W with individual max. ratings of 0.5 A and 5 V. Min. breakdown voltage is 100 VDC across the contacts.
