The Wolverine ultra-low-power MSP430 microcontroller platform from Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, TX, consumes 360 nA in real-time clock mode and <100 µA/MHz in active power consumption. The microcontroller platform uses improved 130 nm process technology and features an ultra-low-power MSP430 architecture, a wakeup time of 6.5 µs, internal power management, 12-bit ADC, and >30 power-optimized analog and digital components. The devices use FRAM that lessens power consumption and does not limit you to specific ratios of program-to-data memory.
