The Model 3100D24T from Dytran Instruments Inc., Chatsworth, CA, is an IEPE accelerometer with TEDS and a sensitivity of 1000 mV/g. Suited for low-g applications, the sensor is constructed of 300 series SS, has a 10-32 radial connector and 10-32 mounting hole, a ceramic shear-mode sensing element, and a case-isolated design. Range is ±5 g F.S. for ±5 V output, frequency range is 1–1000 Hz, and linearity is ±2% F.S. Applications include testing for large structures such as bridges, floors, and foundations.
