The 7503A Series of high-precision, triaxial MEMS DC accelerometers from Dytran Instruments Inc., Chatsworth, CA, are designed for use in zero-to-medium frequency commercial and military applications. The sensors combine a MEMS variable capacitive sensing element in a hermetically sealed titanium case and are offered in 7 sensitivities and measurement ranges between 2 g and 200 g. Low-end frequency response is down to DC and the upper frequency range is between 400 and 2500 Hz with differential output. The devices can withstand 5000 g shock and operate from 9–32 VDC power.
