SDI 2460 Series universal triaxial capacitive accelerometer modules from Silicon Designs Inc., Issaquah, WA, are available in 8 different g ranges and designed for high-precision shock, vibration, and acceleration measurement. Each device combines 3 orthogonally mounted accelerometers in an epoxy-sealed anodized aluminum case. Features include onboard voltage regulation, an internal voltage reference, and careful manufacturing to ensure that each sensor is virtually identical, allowing you to swap out modules with few or no testing modifications. Applications include automotive, aerospace, industrial, power generation, and test and measurement.
