The Model 2445 Series of single-ended, low-noise analog MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules from Silicon Designs Inc., Issaquah, WA, are designed for low- to medium-frequency triaxial measurement requirements. The sensors incorporate 3 orthogonally mounted, low-noise MEMS capacitive sensing elements in a nitrogen-damped, epoxy-sealed lightweight aluminum housing and provide a ±5 V single-ended output. Outputs are referenced to external ground. Units are offered with individual standard measurement ranges from ±2 g to ±400 g and feature a 6-wire connection with an instrumentation amplifier on each axis, onboard voltage regulation, and an internal voltage reference.
