RAE Systems Inc., San Jose, CA, offers the QRAE II one-to-four sensor toxic gas monitor for worker protection. The monitor includes a solid-polymer electrochemical, lead-free oxygen sensor; it features easy access to the battery compartment and all sensors, including the oxygen, combustible gas, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide sensors; and offers vibration, flashing LED, and 95 dB audible alarms. The device is designed and ATEX- and CSA-certified for use in hazardous environments including oil refineries, petrochemical plants, steel mills, wastewater treatment plants, landfill operations, coal mines, sewers, trenches, and other confined-space entry.
