Torque/Thrust Load Cell from Cooper Cooper Instruments & Systems December 18, 2011 The LXT 920 from Cooper Instruments & Systems, Warrenton, VA, is designed to measure reaction torque moments and tension/compression loads in a single transducer. The aluminum sensor is available in load ranges from 50–200 lb. thrust and 50–200 in.-lb. torque with ±0.2% F.S. linearity, ±0.1% F.S. hysteresis, and ±0.05% F.S. repeatability and has two separate 2 mV/V outputs for applied torque and thrust. The temperature-compensated device operates from 60°F–160°F and provides 150% overload capacity. |
