The TorqueTrak 10K torque telemetry system from Binsfeld Engineering Inc., Maple City, MI, lets you convert most drive shafts into rotating torque sensors by mounting the transmitter, battery, and torque-sensitive strain gauge to the shaft. Features include ease of use, an IR remote control, data transmission via analog voltage or digital RS-232 outputs, standby power mode, and a 16-channel, 500 Hz frequency response. System resolution is 14-bit, sample transmission rate is 2400 sps, and transmission distance is 20 ft.
