The LabMaster Portable Model 3210 from RS Technologies div., PCB Load & Torque Inc., Farmington Hills, MI, is designed for joint analysis torque-tension testing, allowing threaded fastener manufacturers to verify the fasteners' performance. The device tests threaded fasteners and evaluates fastener coatings, lubrication, finish, and plating; it analyzes bolted joints; and certifies power tools. Combined with a torque-angle sensor and a thread torque-fastener tension research head, the device allows you to measure input torque, angle of fastener rotation, clamp load, and thread torque. The system includes an enclosure, a 4-channel DA card, and a signal conditioning card compatible with most strain gauge transducers and high-level devices.
