The USB-501-TC-LCD from Measurement Computing Corp., Norton, MA, is a thermocouple data logger with an LCD display. Supporting Type K, J, and T thermocouples, the device can measure and store >32,000 temperatures over the –200°C to 1350°C range and record at 13 software-selectable logging rates. The high-contrast LCD shows temperature data and logger status. A replaceable, long-life lithium battery typically allows up to 6 months of logging. Software is used to configure the logger and to provide one-click access to download, display, or export the data.
