Thermal Camera Cores from FLIR Systems

Quark longwave thermal camera cores from FLIR Systems, Portland, OR, are available in 320 or 640 resolution versions, and without the lens they weigh < 20 g and are 17 by 22 by 22 mm. The uncooled VOx microbolometers operate in the 7.5–13.5 µm spectral band, dissipate <1.0 W, and have a <3.5 s time to image. Shock rating is 800 g, 10 ms pulse on all axes. The compact, lightweight camera cores have wafer-level packaged microbolometers and are intended for OEMs.
