Tasseron Sensors and Controls Inc., Williamsport, PA, offers the Qwik Series of temperature sensors for building automation and HVAC. The sensors use a patent-pending Qwik Connect system to eliminate wire nuts. Duct sensors are offered as the Qwik Box in a galvanized enclosure and with IP40 or IP54 ratings, the Qwik Mini in a plastic enclosure with IP54 rating, and the Qwik Flange that is also available with a VAV option. All sensors are offered with a variety of NTC thermistor or RTD elements and probe lengths from 4–18 in. An outdoor sensor, strap-on pipe sensor, and immersion sensor are also available.
