The Lynx high-speed, high-sensitivity SWIR line-scan camera from Xenics, Leuven, Belgium, is suited for use in high-resolution medical OCT, spectroscopy, and industrial inspection applications. The camera is offered in 512, 1024, or 2048 line pixel resolutions. Features include a 12.5 by 12.5 µm rectangular pixel pitch for detail-rich signals and lower lens distortion; line rate up to 40 Hz (1024 pixels) and 10 kHz (2048 pixels); 5 different read-out capacitors for up to 15 gain settings; and signal output preprocessing by a CMOS ROIC. Lynx can be operated with standard TE1 cooling in high-sensitivity mode or in high-dynamic range mode with an optional TE3 cooler stage.
