The SU1024LDM from Sensors Unlimited Inc., part of Goodrich Corp., Princeton, NJ, is an InGaAs line-scan camera that offers high-resolution, 1024-pixel imaging in the shortwave IR (SWIR) spectrum. The 3 by 2.9 by 2.4 in. camera has a 14-bit base CameraLink interface, flexible triggering, and line rates up to 46,000/s for its 1024 pixel width and features high quantum efficiency, wide dynamic range, and integrate-while-read acquisition. The imager's square pixels are suited for inspection of polished silicon blocks, ingots, or wafers; hot glass bottles; and for use on continuous process lines that apply transparent coatings that are visible in the SWIR spectral region.
