The CL1600 from Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, is a surface probe calibrator designed to calibrate and verify surface probe readings from 25°C–450°C. The rugged, compact, bench top device provides a 120 mm dia. aluminum surface and is built around a PID temperature controller. Features include fast heat up, stable readings, a highly uniform heated surface area, built-in RS-232 communications, software, and a NIST-traceable calibration certificate. The device is intended for scientific, research, and calibration service industries.
