Universal Flow Monitors Inc., Hazel Park, MI, offers four new sizes of its CoolPoint SS vortex shedding flowmeters for processing cooling water, water/glycol coolant, or low-viscosity fluids. The flowmeters are now offered in 3/4 in., 1 in., 1 1/2 in., and 2 in. pipe sizes. Accuracy is ±2% F.S., repeatability is ±0.25% of indicated flow, turndown is 10:1 standard (20:1 is optional), and max. flow rates are 25 gpm (3/4 in.), 50 gpm (1 in.), 100 gpm (1 1/2 in.), and 200 gpm (2 in.). Meters can be equipped with a temperature transmitter for flow applications involving heat removal. A flow totalizer is also available.
