The Type 50GI from G.R.A.S. Sound & Vibration, Holte, Denmark, is a Class 1 prepolarized CCP (IEPE-type) sound intensity probe for high-reliability acoustic measurements across a variety of applications. The probe is supplied in kit form and ships with all the necessary supporting components, including a phase-matched 0.5 in. prepolarized intensity microphone set, two 0.25 in. CCP preamplifiers, 4 solid interchangeable spacers, a windscreen, 2 BNC cables, and a probe handle. The included microphones meet IEC 61043 requirements for Class 1 intensity probes and incorporate a pressure equalization system to ensure that phase characteristics are well-defined.
