The SNAP Connect E10 embedded appliance from Synapse Wireless Inc., Huntsville, AL, connects SNAP, Ethernet, WiFi, or cellular traffic to centralized applications, databases, or storage. The device uses a 32-bit RISC processor running an open, embedded version of Linux and uses the company's SNAP Connect software to bridge the Internet to devices running SNAP, the company's instant-on, self-healing mesh network operating system. The device lets you control and monitor SNAP networks remotely and supports LAN and WAN remote administration using the free Synapse Portal.
