Madison Co., Branford, CT, offers the Madisonic U4359 for continuous level measurement in small tanks. The ultrasonic sensor has a 4–70 in. range, accuracy of ±0.25% of full span at ambient temperature and pressure, a 10° beam angle, 12–28 VDC supply voltage, 3/4 in. NPT mounting, and 4–20 mA and 0–5 V outputs that you can use individually or at the same time. Other features include a rigid polycarbonate housing and a NEMA 4X (IP65) rating. Applications include day tanks and drums in process lines, small tanks for industrial liquids and certain solids, and food and beverage production.
