The Shock101 battery-powered, stand-alone triaxial shock recorder from Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works Inc., Penacook, NH, measures and records peak acceleration levels in environments such as moving vehicles, trucks, containers, and ships. The logger features high-speed downloads, NIST-traceability, real-time operation, programmable start time, and memory for 43,690 measurements/channel. Other applications include characterizing environments involved in production and assembly lines of delicate equipment, IC fabrication, communications, and computer components.
