The Model 3700 from Measurement Specialties Inc., Aliso Viejo, CA, is a high-g shock accelerometer for impact, structural, and transient shock testing. The MEMS piezoresistive device is available in ranges from ±2000 g to ±6000 g and has shock protection to >10,000 g. The sensor is suited for long-duration shock transient measurements and has a rugged SS housing.
