Sensorless BLDC Controller from Melexis Melexis December 21, 2009 The MLX81200 high-temperature, sensorless brushless DC (BLDC) motor controller from Melexis Inc., Concord, NH, has a LIN dual-core architecture and its integrated LIN transceiver is certified according to LIN1.3, 2.0, 2.1, and SAE-J2602 physical layer specifications. The controller can apply its TruSense sensorless technology in BLDC applications with a LIN interface, including sinewave-controlled HVAC blowers and 200 W on-demand water pumps. The LIN dual core lets you develop your application code independent from the LIN task. Application software, running on the 16-bit application MCU, runs independently from the communication task running on the other core. |
