The MS-CPU32 from Semaphore, Nashua, NH, is a 32-bit CPU SCADA software module that is compatible with T-BOX MS modular RTU SCADA systems. Based on a 505 MIPS PowerPC processor, the software uses a Linux core and includes 2 Ethernet ports. It supports up to 16 serial ports and processor redundancy. You can install 2 MS-CPU32 modules in a T-BOX MS rack to operate in a primary/backup configuration. The software also supports sequence-of-events recording with 1 ms resolution. You can convert application programs developed for the T-BOX 16-bit processor to use with the MS-CPU32. Applications include monitoring and control for broadcast, infrastructure, oil and gas, power, transportation, and water treatment and distribution industries.
