RTU Communications Processor from CSE-Semaphore

The MC-31 from CSE-Semaphore, Lake Mary, FL, is a communications processor module for the company's Kingfisher SCADA system RTU line. Based on a 32-bit processor, the MC-31 provides integral Ethernet communications and 2 additional port options for the Kingfisher Plus+ series RTU and supports the RTU's redundant configurations. Port options include isolated serial, fiber-optic, PSTN modem, leased-line modem, HART, spread-spectrum radio, and Ethernet. The Kingfisher RTU series has an embedded programming environment that complies with both IEC 61131-3 and 61499 as well as an enhanced DNP3 protocol suite.
