The 424CO from Elobau Sensor Technology Inc., Gurnee, IL, is a rotary position sensor with integrated CANopen communications. The Hall-effect-based sensor features a measuring range of 360° with 0.1° resolution over the entire angular range. The shaft is supported by ball bearings to allow radial forces. The operating temperature range is –40°C to 85°C and EMC protection is up to 200 V/m. The device is suited for use in demanding environments such as those in construction equipment, agricultural tractors and combines, and other industrial applications.
