Contrinex Inc., Old Saybrook, CT, offers a new RFID range that works at 13.56 MHz and allows integration of all tags that comply with the ISO/IEC 15693 standard. The system's read/write modules can be connected directly to an RS-485 fieldbus, allowing you to create a network of up to 253 read/write modules. You can also directly address up to 10 read/write modules from a control console by using an USB adapter. The module's physical address is determined using a selector built into the device. The HF system complements the company's existing RFID system that features all metal components for use in demanding environments.
