The CL024 transceiver from Laird Technologies Inc., Earth City, MO, is a frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) radio for the 2.4 GHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band, providing multiple networks to co-exist in the same area with limited interference. The transceiver is housed in a die-cast enclosure, enabling long-distance serial cable replacement with wireless link. Features include RS-232; 4.4 in. by 2.7 in. by 1.4 in. size; 125 mW output power; and antennas up to 9 dBi.
