Laser-cut slit and aperture assemblies from Ocean Optics, Dunedin, FL, add flexibility to the company’s Jaz, Torus, and QE65 Pro miniature spectrometers. You can mix and match optical bench and other components in various configurations. Replaceable slits give users the ability to switch from one application to another by replacing a few screws. With replaceable slits, users can change the spectrometer’s performance in the field, and without the need for realignment.
