The LinkTx from Saelig Co. Inc., Pittsford, NY, is a compact SMS-based monitoring unit that lets a GSM mobile or GSM-enabled computer system receive alarms and other information from remote locations. Text messages can also be sent to turn equipment on or off and to receive measurement and alarm information to a mobile phone or PC. An optional combined Ethernet and GPRS Web server module is also available to enable all monitored LinkTx inputs and outputs to be viewed or changed via Web browser. The module has 3 output control signals in addition to its monitoring functions.
