The Pulse101A from MadgeTech Inc., Warner, NH, is a battery-powered pulse data logger with a 1 s reading rate, memory for 500,000 readings, 10 year battery life, a multiple start/stop function, and ultra-high-speed download capability. The NIST-traceable 36 by 64 by 16 mm device is field-upgradeable and offers optional memory wrap, a battery life indicator, and optional password protection. Software lets you start, stop, or download data from the logger. Applications include flow rate recording, gas and water metering, traffic studies, frequency recording, air-speed indication, and general-purpose pulse recording.
