The PS5000 from Saelig Co. Inc., Pittsford, NY, is a dual-channel PC oscilloscope adapter that provides up to 1 Gsps real-time sampling rate for USB PC scopes. The device can store up to 128 Msamples in its internal memory buffer and its Vista-compatible API driver software lets you build your own high-speed DA application based on the PS5000 as a DA front end. In high-speed streaming mode you can log incoming data at up to 6 Msps directly to a PC's hard disk. In block mode you can capture data within the scope at 1 Gsps. You can also control the scope's building arbitrary waveform generator and set up advanced triggering modes.
