The T2550 from Eurotherm, Leesburg, VA, is a programmable automation controller (PAC) with automatic dual-redundancy options. Redundant logging records data to internal Flash memory; data can then be pushed to a remote file server or pulled from the PAC using Eurotherm Review software. Features include the ability to record data at 1 s intervals; support for online configuration changes to a running database; LINtools configuration and engineering software for graphical configuration of block-structured continuous control, sequence control SFCs, ladder and graphics; the ability to automatically create its own database based on I/O detected in the base unit; and a set point programmer. You can operate the unit using analog, logic, and sequence control; communication is over 10/100Base-T Ethernet.
