BPS Series IP67-rated pressure sensors from Balluff Inc., Florence, KY, incorporate a long-term stable ceramic load cell and are designed for use in gaseous and liquid media. Available in 11 pressure ranges, the sensors cover ranges from –1 to 0 bar up to 0–600 bar for monitoring process media in factory automation. Features include a compact design; a visible display that shows current system pressure in bar, mbar, psi, and MPa and lets you configure the sensors according to the VDMA standard; the ability to rotate the display and electrical connection independently of each other by 320°; and either 2 switching points or 1 switching output plus a 0–10 V or 4–20 mA analog signal. High-end models have a SS housing and an expanded temperature range. Applications include hydraulics monitoring, pneumatics equipment, and monitoring other process media in factory automation.
