Meggitt Sensing Systems, Irvine, CA, introduces the Endevco model 727 piezoresistive accelerometer for accurate shock measurement during drop testing of consumer electronic devices and other shock and impact testing environments. Available in 4 ranges of 2000 g, 6000 g, 20,000 g, and 60,000 g; 0.28 in. dia.; with frequency response from DC to 10 kHz (2 kg range) and up to DC to 100 kHz (60 kg range). The accelerator body is 0.3 g and 1.1 g per ft. on the integral 10 ft. cable allows for min. mass loading to the test object. Standard units come with A2LA-certified calibration. Also included is the Endevco model 42894 removal tool.
