The Endevco Model 7703A Series high-temperature, radiation-tested piezoelectric accelerometers from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, are designed for general vibration measurements on structures and objects, particularly within nuclear environments. The sensors are offered in 50, 100, 200, 300, and 1000 pC/g ranges and feature a 10-32 side connector, highly stable shear-mode construction, low-base strain sensitivity, high-resonance frequency, insensitivity to thermal transients, and excellent output stability over time. Accelerometers have been tested up to 108 Rad and are temperature compensated to 288°C. Applications include engine testing, oil and gas pipeline monitoring, nuclear power plant pipeline and valve vibration monitoring, aerospace metallurgy, and automotive metrology.
