The Endevco Model 7240C from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is a miniature piezoelectric accelerometer with low bandwidth flat to 30 kHz, designed for general-purpose, high-frequency vibration measurements in automotive, aerospace, general laboratory testing, and structural monitoring. The hermetically sealed sensor offers low base-strain sensitivity, excellent output stability over time, weighs 4.8 g (total package weight), and is a self-generating device that requires no external power source for operation. Signal ground is connected to the sensor's outer case.
