The Endevco Model 7257AT from Meggitt Sensing Systems, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is a compact, hermetically sealed piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics, designed for vibration measurements on flight test vehicles. Available in 6 model variations, with a choice of 10 mV/g or 100 mV/g sensitivity and upper corner frequency ranges from 500–5000 Hz, the sensor offers ±2.5 V F.S. output, biased at 2.5 VDC, which can be directly interfaced with many different telemetry systems. Features include 3-wire configuration with fixed voltage input, a built-in 4-pole Butterworth low-pass filter, and the ability to power the sensor from any flight vehicle standard 15–32 VDC supply.
