Arch Rock Corp.
June 25, 2008

Arch Rock Corp., San Francisco, CA, offers the OEM version of its PhyNet wireless sensor network that lets you create high-volume, low-footprint sensing and control systems based on IP standards and that can be integrated into existing enterprise IT infrastructures. The PhyNet OEM Edition includes a new hardware/software module that is ready to embed into third party sensing and control devices and works to turn the devices into low-power wireless nodes. The PhyNet NP Engine network processor acts as a network interface card and includes a microprocessor, 802.15.4 radio, and Flash memory. The PhyNet IE integrated execution engine has the same hardware module and networking software as the NP Engine but adds memory space for custom applications and an API. Development kits are available for both.
