The CS3970CL from Toshiba Teli America Inc., Irvine, CA, is a high-resolution, high-speed machine vision camera with a 2.01 Megapixel CCD and a Camera Link interface. The camera uses a 1/1.8-type progressive-scan CCD to capture full-frame 1628 by 1236 images at up to 15 frames/s (48 frames/s in high-speed draft mode) and has a 54 mm by 43 mm by 59 mm form factor. Features include random trigger and multiple shutter, minimum subject illumination of 2 lux, internal sync, and C-mount connection.
