Molding Process Control System from RJG

Molding Process Control System from RJG

February 21, 2007

The eDART flx from RJG Inc., Traverse City, MI, offers automatic sensor recognition and scaling, auto-zeroing of cavity pressure sensors, automatic job selection, and simple hook-ups. The system can detect processing issues such as short shots or flash before the mold opens, allowing you to set up the containment procedures for failsafe part segregation. You can view in-cavity behavior, such as pressure and temperature; analyze molding problems by interpreting cycle and summary graph data; and implement automated part sorting strategies. Data collected can be used to set alarm bands to catch and contain inconsistencies.
