Vibration & Shock Sensors Design Center, Measurement Specialties Inc., Aliso Viejo, CA, offers the Model 52 adhesive-mount accelerometer for auto safety applications. The sensor is available in ranges from 50–2000 g, with frequency response flat to 7000 Hz, depending on range. Linearity is ±1%. The Wheatstone bridge device is <0.4 in. long, 0.15 in. high and operates from 2–10 VDC and in temperatures from –40°C to 85°C.
