The Model 357A19 from PCB Piezotronics Inc., Depew, NY, is a miniature charge-output accelerometer designed for shock and vibration studies in space-restricted locations and on small, lightweight structures. The 0.11 by 0.16 by 0.27 in. device weighs 0.007 oz. and connects to laboratory-style charge amplifiers or inline charge converters. Operating temperature range is –73°C to 177°C. Features include 0.35 pC/g output with frequency response up to 20 kHz, resonant frequency >70 kHz, a 10,000 g shock limit, titanium housing, and standard 10 ft. low-noise cable.
