Military, Aerospace Pressure Transmitters from AST American Sensor Technologies (AST) Inc. August 22, 2010 The AST2000 and AST20HA pressure transmitters from American Sensor Technologies (AST) Inc., Mt. Olive, NJ, are suited for use in military and aerospace applications. The sensors use the company's Krystal Bond one-piece SS sensing element that is free of welds, oil-filled cavities, and internal O-rings. The devices feature digital compensation, an operating temperature range from –55°C to 75°C, and resistance to shock, vibration, and washdown to military standards such as MIL-810 and MIL-416. Applications include monitoring the fuel, compressors, transmissions, and hydraulic pumps and motors of government vehicles and test equipment. |
