The RM116 from Wahl Instruments Inc., Asheville, NC, is a low-resistance tester for maintenance departments, workshops, and field use. The device has 4 measurement wires and features automatic measurement in noninductive resistance mode, automatic triggering when continuity is established between the two points, measurement of EMF parasites before each measurement, permanent measurement current for inductive loads, DC measurement current for noninductive resistances, display of temperature-compensated resistance value, and programmable parameters. Memory can store 1000 measurements.
